Having recently listed and sold a home in upstate New York, I know better than most how frustrating selling a home can be when you’re not working with the right real estate agent. It also made me realize that the level of service and commitment I give my clients every day is what should be provided to every single home buyer and seller. No excuses, ever.
Early on, I started my career in many service-oriented businesses, from retail and wholesale sales, as a veterinary assistant, and more relevantly in management in tennis, health and golf clubs and then finally as an Assistant Manager with a focus on VIP Services at a prestigious Central Park South hotel in New York City. That job, above all others, taught me the importance of customer service, the ability to please without compromise, the importance of integrity and ethics in the workplace, and, the foresight to see every buyer and seller as having the same needs regardless of their position or their price range. I have since had the pleasure of representing CEOs, top business professionals, a couple of celebrities and many first time home buyers. My level of service remains the same, and that is the basis of my commitment to you.
I have worked in real estate for over 17 years. I started at a small firm in Darien then moved to what was William Pitt Real Estate 15 years ago. Eventually, William Pitt merged with Sotheby’s International Realty, which allowed us the unique ability to maintain our boutique feel in each town while providing us with local, regional, national and global resources and exposure. In the midst of the real estate and economic crisis we’ve all been experiencing these past few years, my company had the foresight to join forces with Building and Land Technology (BLT), to ensure stability, strength and resiliency in the marketplace. There’s no other place I’d rather be. I have consistently ranked as a Top Producing agent, ranking in the Top 15 of my company (out of over 1100 agents), and repeatedly earning the highest level of recognition as a Gold and Platinum Level agent. In 2010, I reached the highest level possible by achieving the coveted Diamond Superstar Level, as the #1 Top-Producing agent.
I have the unique position of working out of two offices: Darien and New Canaan. I am the only agent who can say that in my primary coverage towns. I lived in Darien for 11 years and started my real estate career during that time. Although I loved many aspects of Darien, I found a new home in New Canaan and made the move 15 years ago. I was not willing to give up my Darien real estate roots, so in addition to keeping a desk and maintaining a strong presence in the Darien office, I took a desk and also started working out of the New Canaan office. I have found this to be extremely helpful to my clients because many buyers want to look in both communities and don’t want to be handed off to another agent who only covers that one town. That’s especially true when clients have spent hours with an agent telling them their likes and dislikes, only to have to start all over again with someone else. Covering more than one town also allows me to help the client compare their options in housing, the communities and the school systems. In fact, my children attended Royle and Ox Ridge Elementary Schools and Middlesex Middle School in Darien, as well as South Elementary School, Saxe Middle School and The New Canaan High School in New Canaan.
I am actively involved and committed to both towns. I attend weekly meetings in each office, attend broker open houses in each town, and work closely with both managers. I am often able to provide my sellers with additional advertising and marketing by being affiliated with two offices. I also actively promote and market properties to my vast professional network.

It has a double meaning – you can expect the world with my client services including my professional and personal resources, and you can expect the world with my ability to market your home through my global real estate company and local community. I am a 100% full time agent who takes pride in my incomparable client services, strong negotiating skills and my unwavering sense of integrity and ethical behavior as a real estate professional.
In addition to Darien and New Canaan, I also cover Rowayton, Wilson Point and Greenwich, Connecticut. I have the best team of agents whom I network with in every community in Connecticut, and Westchester County, New York. I have built my networking group over the years and am pleased to be able to provide referrals to real estate professionals in whatever town, state or country you wish to look.
My response time is quick. If possible, I will return your call or email within the hour. I am active in real estate seven days a week. I have a strong interest in “green” building and technology, and I work closely with many builders. I am locally known as a luxury real estate expert, with a strong background in new construction, but please know that I represent all levels and do not restrict my business to the luxury market. My personal interests, aside from my children and family are my two wonderful yellow Labs, Sawyer and Thatcher. I also love the outdoors, walking for exercise in our many local parks, Pilates – especially on The Reformer, and reading. I come from a family of teachers and professors, so education, reading and learning were not an option!
I was an English major in college, studying in New York and New Jersey at Montclair State University (my old hometown) and at NYU. I also did a Hotel and Restaurant Management course at NYU to enable me to rise in the ranks at the hotel where I worked.
I love real estate, and pride myself on learning and implementing unique marketing strategies, keeping up with trends and constantly growing and changing as the need arises.
