Darien had some nice new listings come on – some repeats, but a few new ones as well. What is most impressive though is that 15 homes had an Accepted Offer and 5 went to contract. Not bad.

New Canaan Weekly Real Estate Report
New Canaan was once again hopping with 13 new listings coming on. One of my favorites is a beauty at 75 Stoneleigh Road, a great neighborhood on the east side. It has one of the prettiest yards I’ve ever seen and the house is beautiful and seemingly perfectly maintained.
Five homes went to contract and eight homes were reduced.

Rowayton and Wilson Point, CT Weekly Real Estate Report
Five really nice new listings came on in Rowayton including a beauty at 17 South Beach Drive, listed for $4,250,000 – a beautiful 3-level newer home built in 2004 with great views of the sound. I could definitely live there, feeling like I’m on vacation 12 months of the year. The activity was strong with 4 Accepted Offers and 5 homes going to contract.

New Canaan, CT Weekly Real Estate Report
The strength of the New Canaan market has been extremely encouraging. All price ranges are strong. As you’ll see from the weekly report, there are 25 new listings in every price range, from the mid 700s to $10,000,000. Five properties went pending and 13 homes were reduced. There are 255 single family homes on the market this year as compared to 233 last year. More choices, and more opportunities.

Rowayton and Wilson Point, CT Weekly Real Estate Report
It’s so great to see more than a couple of listings reflected in the weekly report. Rowayton had five new listing including a lovely gem at 22 Pine Point Road. Four homes have Accepted Offers and two more went to Deposit.

Darien Weekly Real Estate Market Report
Darien continues to be strong, and this week, I have what I believe to be the highest price ever for a listing in Darien: 27 Contentment Island Road was listed for $26,000,000. I’ll see it tomorrow on the broker open house tour, and I’ll be back to report what I think. Somehow I don’t think I’ll be disappointed.
There were 17 Accepted Offers! Wowzers.

Darien Weekly Real Estate Report
Darien’s market, like New Canaan’s, is strong this spring – properties are selling in all price ranges. One of my favorite new listings is an almost new home at 48 Old Farm Road in Tokeneke. I loved the feeling of air and light and the flexible floor plan of this gorgeous 8289 sq. ft. Shingle Style Colonial designed by Roger Bartels.
Seven properties reduced their list price, 4 went to Accepted Offer, 3 to Deposit and 4 closed.
New Canaan Weekly Real Estate Report
Open house days in New Canaan have been an act of racing around, trying to get everything in. There have been up to 20 houses to see in one day. A couple of stand-outs would be 41 Green Avenue listed for $2,895,000, a nicely redone older home in the center of town between Main Street and South Avenue, 27 Orchard Drive on for $749,000, a great re-do or add-on also in the center of town on a side street between South School and the village center and 252 Silvermine Road, an almost new home built in 1997 with 5 bedrooms and over 6000 sq. ft.
In all, there were 18 new listings including 4 new condominiums, 9 listings were reduced, 2 went pending and 6 properties closed.
As of 4/19/2012, there were 245 single family homes on the market, 55 condominiums and 48 land listings.
