The Rowayton Farmers' Market is one of the top-rated in the nation and features an assembly of the best farmers, producers, and artisans in the area, including several exciting vendors. Not only is the market a great place to purchase fresh vegetables and fruits, but it's also a nice place to hang out with friends and family with glorious views of the surrounding park and water. While you're in town, you might also stop by Seaside Delights, a gift shop selling beach-themed apparel, whimsical candles, candies, gifts, and more.

If you're eager to spend the day in town, you can stop off for lunch or dinner at the chic seafood restaurant Rowayton Seafood or dine on some classic pies at the cozy Rowayton Pizza. Once the town library, Brendan's 101 has evolved into a Rowayton staple for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or their famous ice cream!

As far as recreation goes, Bayley Beach is a town-owned beach with lifeguards available in the summer months and a great place to play tennis and volleyball or let the kids play on the playground.

Rowayton is home to the esteemed Rowayton Elementary School, a top-rated educational institution in the area.
